Start your Spring Training Classic 10K weekend by taking the kids out for a run just for them!  Friday night March 5^th, Roger Dean Stadium will host the Cops-n-Kids Fun Run, a fun run for elementary and middle school students of Palm Beach County. 

Races start and end at home plate on the Roger Dean Stadium field, with the Kid’s K race beginning at 5:30 p.m. and the Kid’s Mile at 6:00 p.m.  Winners will receive the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at a Florida Marlins Spring Training game! 

There will be appearances by team mascots and the Jupiter Police Department’s SWAT and K-9 units, and even more activities on the Roger Dean Stadium plaza!

The inaugural Spring Training 10K Road Race will be held on Saturday, March 6^th at Roger Dean Stadium. The proceeds will benefit the Cardinals/ Marlins Fund and DMSE Children's Fitness Foundation. The racing route starts by Main Street and takes participants throughout 6 beautiful neighborhoods in Abacoa, enters the Stadium for a lap around the outfield and the exciting finish at Home Plate. Following the race, the Florida Marlins will take on the St. Louis Cardinals at 1:05 PM.

Also planned for the weekend are the Cops n’ Kids Fun Run and Health and Fitness Expo.
